2. SUS304 Does Not Tell You Whether the Sink Is Handmade or Pressed
The same material can be used for two completely different manufacturing routes.
Handmade
Typically:
cut
→ bend
→ weld
→ grind
→ polish
Pressed / Drawn
Typically:
sheet
→ hydraulic drawing
→ forming
→ trimming
→ finishing
The production method affects:
- customization
- MOQ
- tooling
- bowl geometry
- thickness distribution

3. SUS304 Does Not Tell You the Finished Thickness of a Pressed Sink

A pressed sink may start with:
1.0 mm SUS304 sheet
but after deep drawing, the thickness can vary across:
- flange
- sidewall
- lower radius

The starting sheet grade remains SUS304.
The finished thickness profile does not remain automatically uniform.
